Preferred Home Health Care's Chief Operating Officer Named to March of Dimes New Jersey State Board

Industry leader Jonathan Herman, Chief Operating Officer at Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services, has been named to the March of Dimes New Jersey Board of Directors. March of Dimes board members, who serve as volunteers, oversee the business of the chapter and implementation of the March of Dimes strategic plan for the success of its mission. They serve 2-year terms. He is part of a distinguished group of more than 15 directors for the organization that is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.

Jonathan Herman is the Chief Operating Officer at Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services, a home health care company that has been operating for 25 years, providing a wide range of medical and non-medical services, focused on pediatrics, adults and geriatrics. He joined the corporate team at Preferred in 2005. Shortly thereafter, he was transferred to Preferred's Mount Laurel, New Jersey, office to help restructure the management team. After he completed this task, Jonathan was transferred back to corporate and, with much hard work and dedication, he streamlined the operations of Preferred, thereby reducing expenses and curtailing unnecessary spending. He was then elevated to his current role as COO.

During his time at Preferred, Jonathan has helped steer the company;s growth, expanding from four locations in New Jersey to nine total locations, with seven in New Jersey and two in Pennsylvania. Additionally, Jonathan orchestrated Preferred's first major acquisition, a durable medical equipment (DME) company servicing most of New England. Jonathan's vision is to assimilate the DME company into Preferred's core business, thereby offering a full platform of services for the thousands of clients Preferred services.
