Recruiting Manager 

For over 30 years, Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services has been providing compassionate and dependable medical and non-medical home health care services throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Through our quality care, we help our clients with the medical, physical, and emotional strain that comes when home health care is needed the most. Preferred is currently hiring a recruiting manager for our Eatontown, NJ office. 

Duties of Position 

The recruiting manager is responsible for ensuring our company attracts, hires, onboards, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline and tracking key recruiting metrics. 

Responsibilities of Position 

  1. Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates and collaborating with management 
  2. Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, nursing schools, media, and internet sites 
  3. Manage relationships with recruitment platform representatives and key partners 
  4. Establish recruitment objectives 
  5. Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline 
  6. Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements 
  7. Arrange phone screenings and in-person interviews between the candidate and interviewee 
  8. Create and send offer letters 
  9. Obtain new hire documentation and verify education, experience, and licensure or certification, as appropriate to job responsibilities, and enter them into CubHub 
  10. Arrange onboarding schedule and arrange appropriate training 
  11. Track data analysis and recruitment efforts – cost to hire, time to hire, sourcing channel efficiency, candidate experience, offer acceptance rate, etc. 
  12. Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices 
  13. Keep current on the company’s organizational structure, personnel policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices 
  14. Complete timely reports on employment activity 
  15. Maintain strict professional ethics, confidentiality, and privacy 
  16. Perform other duties as assigned in a professional matter 

Job Conditions

  2. High-volume recruitment 


  1. Must have a college degree 
  2. Two years of recruiting experience preferred 
  3. The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing 
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  5. Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships 
  6. Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues 
  7. Customer service-oriented
