As its name implies, home health care allows you or your loved one to be cared for in the safety and comfort of your own home, as opposed to a nursing home or facility.
A home health aide can provide services such as bathing, meal preparation, medication reminders and other ADLs, or activities of daily living. A nurse can provide services such as medication administration and wound and dressing changes, as well as working with high-tech equipment, such as ventilators.
A Preferred team member will work closely with you and a family physician to create a care plan that is tailored to your specific needs.

Additionally, when applicable, we work with our clients to bill your insurance provider directly to ensure claims are being processed and paid in a timely manner.
We work with most major insurance providers, HMOs, and state Medicaid programs, as well as social service programs, Veteran’s Benefits and Workers’ Compensation. We also accept private pay, with flexible rates and payment schedules. Most major credit cards are accepted.
No, we will happily service you for one hour a day or up to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
With eight New Jersey offices, we can service your needs throughout the state. In Pennsylvania, we have three offices that service the eastern part of the state and a location in Pittsburgh. Preferred has one location in Delaware.
