Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services, located in Elmwood Park, provides home care throughout Bergen. Passaic, Sussex and Hudson County for pediatrics and adults. We are looking for Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team.
Within our company, the RN helps to fulfill the skilled care requirements of our patients. Under the direction and support of the Director of Nursing, the successful candidates will work within their entire scope of practice
We provide extensive paid training, specific to a homecare setting, in order to ensure success with our agency. We have a very high success rate with new graduate Registered Nurses (RN) as well as experienced RNs.
RN Responsibilities include:
-providing one-to-one skilled care in the home / school setting
-lifting / repositioning at times
-completing daily charting
-following plan of care
-reporting to Director of Nursing
-following all clinical and office policies
RN Qualifications/Skills include:
-Active New Jersey RN license
-Direct nursing experience is not required (we hire new graduates)
-Availability to work part time (at least 2 set days a week) or full time (up to 6 set days a week)
-availability to work mornings (ex: 7am – 3pm) evenings (ex: 3pm – 11pm / 4pm – 12am) or overnights (11pm – 7am , 12am – 8am)
-committed and reliable in regards to assigned shifts
