It’s a milestone to brag about! For its nationally recognized standards of excellence, Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services, Inc. (PHHC), with headquarters in Eatontown and offices throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, has achieved 20 years of continuous accreditation by CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Partner, Inc.)., a demanding national accrediting organization for the home health care industry.
The rigorous evaluation by CHAP focuses on structure and function, quality of services and products, human and financial resources, and long-term viability, which signify better quality care. By achieving CHAP accreditation, PHHC also meets the Medicare Conditions of Participation and is certified as a Medicare provider.
“Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services has shown a commitment to excellence,” said Barbara McCann, CHAP President and CEO. “We are excited to continue our partnership with PHHC by offering support in its commitment to providing quality care and continuous improvement.”
Since 1993, PHHC has provided a wide range of medical and non-medical home health care services from pediatric to geriatric care throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Preferred works collaboratively with physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, and facilities to ensure a smooth transition to one’s home. In-house services include skilled nursing care for infants, children, adults, and seniors; personal care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, etc.; private duty nursing services; and at-home physical therapy, among others. All of the care is coordinated by registered nurses, with clinical supervision available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
